Welded gabion mesh forms rigid wire panels that are connected into baskets and filled with suitable stone. It is used for landscape walls, drainage features, erosion-control works, and architectural boundaries. The mesh is one component of a complete assembly; basket geometry, connectors, diaphragms, stone grading, foundations, drainage, and project loads all matter.

Woven and welded gabions are different forms
Woven hexagonal gabion mesh is flexible and commonly used in suitable hydraulic or slope-protection systems. Welded gabion baskets use rigid panels and visible connectors, often giving a more regular face for landscape or architectural work. Specify the complete basket
State panel opening, wire diameter, material and coating, basket dimensions, connector type, lids, diaphragms, required finish, stone size range, packing, and installation basis.
